Everyone needs to care for themselves more than they do. Self-care is an essential part, to living a healthy fulling life. Some ways of caring for yourself can be so simple that they can be implemented on a daily basis. Self-care is a stepping stone to having the best life you can. Below are twelve ways that I keep my mind and body jubilant.

  • Walk more
  • Drink more water
  • Eat more fruits and vegetables
  • Finish eating early
  • Go to bed earlier
  • Move more
  • Less refined sugar
  • Pay attention to portions
  • Keep room clean
  • Keep body clean
  • Cook More/ Eat out less
  • Stretch more

I hope that in some way these self-care practices can help at least one person.

(Almost) A new year

During the following months, there will be a lot of change. Change is inevitable and I would prefer to embrace it rather than hide from it. During the following months, there will be a lot of change. There will be happiness and sorrow, there will be growth and struggles. I prefer to grow as a person with my time and perhaps I will even become a new person altogether. The cold of winter will come and go, and spring will come and the only thing that remains is the ultimate fact that there will be change.

Nature

Being in nature is like being in a different world. Walking the trails or wandering from the path can be so serine. The sound of wind, birds, and rivers flowing is always better than traffic, yelling, and the smell of pollution. Personally, I love doing four mile hikes because I’m the end you look back at all that you have accomplished. I love being out there and feeling one with nature, and no better place to do it than in Sedona, Arizona. Even entering the town of Sedona brings a blanket of easy as you look at the red rocks and all the greenery. So spend the day outside, even if it’s a walk around the park. Go on an adventure.
